How we restored this door.Door removed and re-hung with new hinges.
Door blank fitted with existing locks and letterplate
In our workshop the door is hand stripped to reveal details lost over time.
The Stained glass was carefully removed and repaired in our workshop.
New door furniture and locks were cut in and then removed for painting.
Prime and Undercoat.
Top coats applied.
The door frame was stripped right back and painted the same colour as the door.
Door is then returned, frame sanded back, repaired where necessary and painted
Rehanging of door, fitting of locks, door furniture and glass.
Final coat of paint applied to back of door.
